Edelia, City of Death

Just a fast (under 2,30 hours) painting with a bit of matte technique to depict one of the most mysterious cities of Shadow Lords, since my players are going to visit it in tomorrow night session!

"The city of Edelia, hidden deep behind the swamps of the cannibalistic Sharg, is a sacred place where Destiny and Death, its corrupted dark side, are worshipped.
Created as a temple to Destiny and Death, it is said that those that live there renounced their previous lives in exchange for eternal existence granted by the Keeper of the city.
Nobody knows how he gained the title, but there has always been one. Sages tell that when one dies, a new one is chosen by the city itself, that also grants him (or her) immense powers, channelled through the faith of its citizen.
Few who are not invited can find the city and even if they find it, whole armies have been killed by the power of the keeper itself..."
